Happy Easter!!!!!!

Shawn has been hearing much about Easter and how traditionally the Easter bunny visits while he is sleeping to hide Easter eggs and leave goodies. Shawn was curious as to what the Easter bunny looks like, so the day before Easter Mom and Dad took Shawn to the mall where they had heard the Easter bunny was visiting. We were in luck, he was there!!!! Shawn was excitid to meet the real Easter bunny, that he smiled the whole time!!! He even talked about his visit the whole walk back to the car!!

Later that night, after dinner, Shawn helped Mom and Dad color Easter eggs for the Easter bunny. What fun we had!!!!

This morning Shawn woke up early and excited to see what happens on Easter morning!!! Though Shawn, Mom, and Dad did not find any hidden Easter eggs (maybe Dolce found them, next year we'll have to beat him to them!!!). There definately was evidence the Easter bunny was here! Shawn found a big ball and was excited to see it. It was a great Easter here!

The weather was perfect, Shawn was handsome in dressing up for church (with Mom's help of course). Later we shared a feast of ham and cheesy potatoes. Yum!!!!

Later we got to see Grandpa and Grandma Davey along with Uncle Rob, and cousins Megan, Sarah, Natalie, and Rebecca on webcam. Then we saw Grandpa and Grandma Nanneman and Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Lyon on webcam. We also saw Aunt Stephanie and cousin Owen, though they could not see us. It was wonderful visiting with family and celbrating Easter with everyone!!!
